There are people that make this world better place by
simply being in it. Grandpa was that kind of person. He was a disciplinarian, a soldier, a fighter, shepherd and our hero.
I didn’t say goodbye to him because I can’t imagine this
life being as beautiful without him.
I am here to celebrate who he was, convey my gratitude
for the lifetime memories he made with us
and thank God for sharing him with us
Thank you Grandpa for bringing up our parents and nurturing
them and for showing them that no matter what they did, they were loved
You will always live on in our parents, in us, in our children
and generations to come. You did well, we are still proud of you and your
voracious will to live that kept you with us all those years you were ill.
It meant everything having you as a grandpa in this life
and am even happier to now have my grandpa as an angel.
We loved you. We still do and we will always love you
